A few links to some of my favorite sites (links will open in a new window):

Game Development:

Boston Postmortem - The Boston-area game developer's gathering.

The Escapist - A great web magazine, with articles focusing primarily on issues pertinant to the Game Dev industry

GamesCC - My friend Reid's project, to provide a simple method for adding closed-captioning to a game during its development

Penny Arcade - The best game-based webcomic.

Music:

3WK - Internet radio, indie rock. They also have a crazy-ass classic rock channel, which I've dubbed "wack."

Brando Classic Old-Time Radio - Not exactly music, but lots of old radio programs, like The Shadow and The Twilight Zone.

WMBR, Cambridge - MIT's radio station. This is pretty consistently badass, mostly underground rock, experimental, etc. They also have a pretty comprehensive concert listing.

WERS, Boston - Emerson's radio station. The programs vary wildly in genre, but it's generally good.

KEXP, Seattle - University of Washington's radio station. These guys have some awesome guests and live performances, though I haven't listened to the station for much else. But it's been heavily recommended.

Live Music Archive - A great place on the intertron for finding bootleg recordings of some great bands.

MusicStack - Sort of an eBay for music. Lots of records - I found an unopened, mint copy of Graceland on here for $7.

Miscellaneous:

Winter Storage for Motorcycles - This is what I do to winterize my bike... more or less. Sometimes I get lazy.

HotDeals - Check this site if you're looking for good deals.

Woot - Of course.

SETI@Home - The Search for Extra-Terrestrial Intelligence! It's distributed computing - use your spare CPU time to help Berkeley find aliens. It's much better than that aquarium screen saver you normally use. Check it out:
